Samuels challenges A-Kid, Brown set to oppose Coffey on NXT UK
A-Kid certainly didn’t have an easy path to become the first-ever NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion, outlasting Flash Morgan Webster, Noam Dar and Trent Seven in a trio of grueling bouts to emerge as the last man standing in the inaugural eight-Superstar tournament.
Nevertheless, Sha Samuels might represent A-Kid’s biggest challenge to date. Samuels berated nearly all of his fellow NXT UK Superstars during an appearance on “Supernova Sessions” last week before he and Noam Dar pressured Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala into making a match between Samuels and A-Kid for the NXT UK Heritage Cup.
As is customary, the high-stakes title fight will be contested under British Round Rules, which means that unbridled brutality is a near certainty when A-Kid and Samuels collide.
And, in a match that won’t be for the faint of heart, Rampage Brown and Joe Coffey are set to trade haymakers in NXT UK’s main event.
While they’ve been at least somewhat respectful of one another during a couple of tense confrontations in recent weeks, both men are looking for a statement victory against a fellow brawler and seem primed to tear each other limb from limb.
Plus, Ben Carter is primed for a battle with Josh Morrell, while Dani Luna is set to slug it out with Aleah James.
Don’t miss what is certain to be a thrilling edition of NXT UK, streaming Thursday at 3 ET/8 GMT on the award-winning WWE Network!
