Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin
Two of SmackDown LIVE’s biggest and baddest brawlers will collide this Sunday at No Mercy when Jack Swagger meets Baron Corbin in a newly announced return match.
General Manager Daniel Bryan took to Twitter to make the hoss fight official:
After recent events on #SDLive, I'm making it official: @BaronCorbinWWE will take on @RealJackSwagger THIS Sunday at #WWENoMercy. @WWE
— Daniel Bryan (@WWEDanielBryan) October 5, 2016
The announcement comes one day after Swagger and Corbin’s showdown on SmackDown LIVE ended in a controversial submission victory for Swagger. Swagger had Corbin trapped in the Patriot Lock, and as Corbin struggled to reach the ropes and break the hold, the referee called for the bell, believing The Lone Wolf had tapped out.
Which bruiser will come out on top in this donnybrook of a rematch? Will it be a victory for “We the people,” or will The Lone Wolf’s war cry be one of triumph? Find out at No Mercy, this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Plus, don't miss No Mercy Kickoff this Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT, live on the award-winning WWE Network. In addition to WWE Network, the Kickoff streams live on WWE.com, the WWE App, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Google+.
