ECW on Sci Fi was the top-rated program on all of cable television on Tuesday night, sending the message that ECW truly is back and better than ever.

Since its premiere on June 12, ECW on Sci Fi has consistently been one of the highest rated cable programs in primetime and one of the top-rated shows in primetime on Tuesday among male teens. With a consistent 2.3 household rating, the hardcore phenomenon has also been one of Sci Fi Channel's highest ranked weekly programs.

According to a statement issued by Sci Fi Channel, ECW has brought more than 1.8 million new viewers to the network since resurfacing on television early this summer. Moreover, roughly 43 percent of the audience that tuned in to ECW's debut on June 12 had not watched the Sci Fi Channel during the four weeks that preceded the premiere.

More than two months after its debut on Sci Fi, ECW has proven to be the extreme hit of the summer. ECW fans can be sure that there's still more to be seen from their favorite Extremists in weeks to come.
