What Will Heyman Do?

In chaotic or troubling situations, you often hear Christians use the phrase "What Would Jesus Do?" Well, right now, Paul Heyman finds himself in that dilemma. Heyman, who considers himself the Messiah of ECW, certainly has a troubling situation on his hands with Sabu.

Last week, he denied Sabu a chance to face Big Show for the ECW World Title and demanded that the Death-Defying Maniac leave the building. Instead, Sabu took matters into his own hands, attacking Big Show with a steel chair after his match with Kane.

With ECW heading to its "holy land" in New York City, the predominant question that has been asked this past week has been "What Will Heyman Do?" Well, when ECW.com asked the self-professed Messiah that question, he wasn't exactly offering a solid answer.

"The situation with Sabu is certainly coming to a head tonight in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom," Heyman told ECW.com. "I have some very tough decisions to make, regarding Sabu's desire to step in the ring with ECW World Champion Big Show. Sometime tonight, and I would speculate maybe even during the broadcast, I'm going to have to make a decision…one that may not satisfy a lot of my friends, and one that may cause an even further rift throughout ECW."

When asked if he would elaborate on that, Heyman simply said no. He did say, however, that he can't wait to make his first appearance in the Hammerstein Ballroom since screwing Rob Van Dam out of the ECW World Title.

"I'm very much looking forward to my followers drinking the Kool-Aid; I can't imagine it being any other way," he proclaimed. "Why, after all this time, would they not support any decision that I make? I have made many controversial decisions in the past, from 1993 through 2001, and at ECW One Night Stand in 2005 and 2006. I cannot imagine a situation where my followers would not go out of their way to take up arms, fight the fight and die for the cause of ECW."

As soon as he finished making that statement, Heyman's tone turned from passionate to downright demonic.

"Wait…you're not suggesting that all of a sudden people think they know better than me, are you?" he asked with a devilish look in his eye. Having seen what's happened to Tommy Dreamer and Little Guido in recent weeks, the poor ECW.com staffer sent to interview Heyman simply thanked him and bolted out of the room at that point.

No one is quite sure what is going on inside Heyman's mind…possibly not even Heyman himself. Perhaps some knowledge will be gained tonight on ECW on Sci Fi? Tune in at 10/9 CT to find out.
