Two tame the Big Red Monster

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Chavo Guerrero's wound of losing the ECW Championship to Kane at WrestleMania XXIV was further ripped open at Backlash. On ECW, however, the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior" may have started the healing process.

Since those eight forgettable seconds in Guerrero's career occurred at The Granddaddy of Them All, Chavo has had his mind focused on one thing -- defeating Kane and winning back the ECW Title. For weeks, he found ways to make the ECW Champion's life a living hell with the help of Edge, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. He also enlisted the services of Bam Neely to be his own personal bodyguard.

While Chavo hasn't been able to find a way to beat Kane one-on-one, he got to experience what it feels like to pin the Big Red Monster on ECW. With the help of Bam Neely in a Handicap Match against the pyromaniac, Guerrero wore down his opponent and picked up the three-count.

While the bruising bodyguard has certainly seen his fair share of action, this was his debut as far as matches are concerned. Pairing up with the former ECW Champion and using his bouncer skills, the One Man Fence also got his first taste of victory.

With Backlash in the past, what lies ahead for Chavo Guerrero? Will he earn himself another title opportunity? As his professional relationship with Neely grows, it's hard to imagine Chavo and his bodyguard not being a difficult tandem to slow down -- one that, as evidenced on ECW, even the ECW Champion can't stop.

What will further develop as Chavo finds ways to exact revenge on the Big Red Machine? Find out on the 100th episode of ECW on Sci Fi, Tuesday at 10/9 CT.
