Bradley Center - Milwaukee, WI

Opened in 1988, the Bradley Center is primarily known as the home of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks and the Marquette University men’s basketball team. The $90-million facility was built through the generosity of local philanthroper Jane Bradley Pettit, and is the only major public assembly facility in North America underwritten completely by one individual or family. The first event in Bradley Center history was an NHL game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers on October 1, 1988.

The Bradley Center has hosted numerous WWE events. In 2002, No Way Out emanated from the Bradley Center and saw the WWE debut of the nWo, who helped Chris Jericho defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin to retain the WWE Championship. The first Taboo Tuesday pay-per-view was held there in October 2004, headlined by Triple H defeating Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton defeating Ric Flair in a Steel Cage Match. Prior to that, in May 1998, the Bradley Center played host to a wild brawl that saw Stone Cold Steve Austin successfully defend the WWE Championship against Mick Foley.

The Bradley Center has seen its share of other memorable WWE moments as well. In February 1988, a live broadcast of The Main Event saw the meltdown of the Mega-Powers, signaling the beginning of the rivalry between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage that culminated at WrestleMania V. The arena also saw one of Los Guerreros’ signature moments, when they sent Big Show some poisoned burritos on an October 2003 edition of SmackDown.
