The final match of the Second Round sees Johnny Gargano taking on T.J. Perkins. Johnny Wrestling made a huge impression on the WWE Universe in the First Round, when he weathered a blistering barrage of devastating strikes from his friend and tag team partner, Tommaso Ciampa. The resilient Gargano absorbed all of it, then  managed to roll Ciampa up to secure the victory and advance in the CWC.

Meanwhile, Perkins drew Germany’s Da Mack in the First Round. In a showdown between perhaps the two most charismatic competitors in the tournament, the Filipino flash showed off his expert counter-wrestling ability and forced “The Urban German” to tap out to a flying kneebar.

Heading into this important showdown, Perkins may have the upper hand. Gargano is just days removed from a grueling NXT Tag Team Title Match at TakeOver: Brooklyn II, where The Revival targeted his knee with vicious double-team maneuvers.
