After verbally and physically harassing Sharmell for two weeks, Kurt Angle got what many SmackDown! observers thought he had coming.
Before the match, Booker T learned that Angle had sent panties and a pair of handcuffs to Sharmell. Angle later jumped Sharmell on a backstage couch, all of which infuriated Booker T to the point of rage.
Booker T would connect with a scissors kick as Angle was hanging over the top rope, sending the Olympic Champ hard to the outside. Angle made a comeback, however, and began to work Booker T over with a choke hold.
But Booker found his second wind, and after both Superstars just missed finishers, Booker hit the Bookend only to have Angle kick out.
Moments later, Booker stunned Angle with a small package counter for the sudden victory. As Sharmell ran to the ring to celebrate with her husband, Angle attacked Booker and connected with the Angle Slam.
With Booker T down, Angle set his sights on Sharmell, almost handcuffing her to the ropes. Booker regained his senses just in time to stop the atrocity, snatching the cuffs and locking Angle to the rope while he went to work. Sharmell would get the last word as she slapped Angle in the face and kicked him in the groin before leaving the ring with Booker T.
