At Armageddon, Kid Kash made his first big shot count, defeating Juventud to win the Cruiserweight Championship.
Juventud attacked Kash at the bell, and the two men slugged it out before Juventud sent Kash to the floor. Juventud hit a plancha, but Kash was able to ram the champion's arm and shoulder into the post, establishing his point of attack.
Kash had Juventud set up for a moonsault, but the champion was able to get his knees up and take control. Juventud hit a top-rope hurricanrana on the challenger, but appeared to hurt his knee on the way down, and a delay in covering Kash allowed him to get a foot on the ropes.
Juventud was then able to hit the Juvy Driver after a sequence of reversals, but the challenger kicked out at 2. Juventud went to the second rope, but Kash avoided a somersault legdrop. The challenger then immediately capitalized, hitting a brainbuster to pick up the victory and become Cruiserweight Champion.
