Reina González always dreamed of following in her father’s footsteps and entering the squared circle. She traveled all over Texas to watch her dad, Ricky “Desperado” González, compete. In the process, she immersed herself in all facets of sports-entertainment, including lucha libre.
However, that doesn’t mean you should expect many high-flying antics from this hard-hitting Texan. Describing herself as “a little bit of sunshine mixed with a little hurricane,” González fights both ugly and dirty. She also possesses a lethal lariat that recalls memories of another famous Texas grappler, WWE Hall of Famer Stan Hansen. The tough-as-leather González, who made her WWE Network debut in the inaugural Mae Young Classic, plans to bruise the competition and leave her mark in her sophomore outing.
