John Cena’s “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” character art revealed

John Cena will be all smiles when he hosts the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, March 24, but the character he will be voicing on the network’s all-new “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” looks anything but friendly.

Nickelodeon released official artwork of the Turtles’ latest foe via social media.

“Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is a bold, 2D reimagining of the Heroes in a Half Shell, who have delighted fans across comic books, television and feature films for more than three decades. Cena joins an all-star voice cast, including Omar Miller, Ben Schwartz, Josh Brener, Brandon Mychal Smith, Kat Graham and Eric Bauza.

“Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” debuts on Nickelodeon in September.
