While this week's MEP may be a bit late, it is only because I wanted to wait until after Armageddon. There were many candidates for Most Extreme Player who were slated to be involved in high stakes matches on Sunday, and I felt I needed to wait and see who would emerge victorious in the following matches:
 
Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton
Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Kennedy
Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy
Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker
 
Jeff Hardy scored the biggest victory of his career against Triple H and earned a WWE Championship Match at the Royal Rumble.
 
Edge won (stole) his fourth World Championship from Batista and escaped the wrath of The Undertaker thanks to an assist from his new "Edge Heads."
 
While it was close, based on the fact that Edge emerged from Armageddon with newly-won gold, regardless of how he won the title, the Rated R Superstar is this week's MEP.
