This week's MEP is former WWE and ECW Champion RVD. This past Tuesday, RVD returned from a Paul Heyman mandated 30-day suspension and caused a No. 1 Contender's Match between Kurt Angle and Sabu to end in a No Contest. I would assume that RVD was making the statement that he wants to challenge Big Show for the ECW World Title at SummerSlam. After all, on July 4th, RVD had the 7-foot, 507-pound behemoth beat when Heyman perpetrated the now infamous South Philly Screwjob.

LATE BREAKING NEWS: I want to let New York ECW fans know that I will be appearing at the ECW Live Event this Sunday night at the Westchester County Civic Center in White Plains, New York. In December of 2000, The Original ECW held a sellout event in this venue and I sincerely hope to see a combination of Original ECW fans and new ECW fans sell out this building again. This event will not be televised so the only way to witness the Hardcore Homecoming of Westchester County natives Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman is to join all of us ECW Extremists live this Sunday. Plus, because this very special event will not be televised, I will not have to worry about network censorship and who knows what I will do or say? ;)
