Former World Heavyweight Champion and perhaps future WWE Hall of Famer Chris Benoit defeated the leader of the New Breed, Elijah Burke, via submission to earn his spot in the ECW World Title match.

CM Punk, seemingly moments away from watching The Alpha Male, Marcus Cor Von, go on to face the Rabid Wolverine for the gold, managed to connect with the GTS (Go to Sleep) for the opportunity to wrestle for ECW's top prize.

The most memorable moments of my announcing career have been calling classic ECW Title matches. I expect Sunday's contest to be a classic.
