This week's MEP is Undertaker, who will defend his undefeated WrestleMania streak against Batista in front of more than 70,000 fans at Ford Field in Detroit.
In fact, on SmackDown, WrestleMania opponents Undertaker and Batista were supposed to team against two men who will be competing against one another in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at ‘Mania, King Booker and Finlay. However, due to a pre-match attack on Batista, the Deadman found himself in a Handicap Match against two of SmackDown's top Superstars, one of them a former World Heavyweight Champion and the other a former United States Champion.
Despite the odds, the Phenom -- who is in the best shape of his career by the way -- seemed to be on his way to a victory when the use of Finlay's shillelagh ended the match in a disqualification. I am certain that a win by pinfall would have been the statement that Undertaker wanted to make heading into WrestleMania, but his performance against not one, but two top opponents was another chapter in his future Hall of Fame career.
