Most Extreme Player for 1/25/07
This week's MEP honors are shared by current and former ECW World Champions.

Bobby Lashley once again earns the title of MEP for turning back the onslaught of a vicious and violent Test just days before their championship showdown at the Royal Rumble. However, Test could very well be named next week's MEP by virtue of dethroning Lashley for the ECW World Title on Sunday. Test has now been in the ring with Bobby Lashley enough to have scouted the champion's weaknesses (if any). Test's destiny is in his own hands at the Rumble.

Rob Van Dam earns co-MEP honors for winning ECW's prelude to the Royal Rumble Match, the five-man Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge. First off, I was surprised that ECW Originals RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Sandman did not immediately toss Kevin Thorn just to keep the match "in the family." I guess that is what the Royal Rumble is all about, friends vs. friends in a quest for a championship match in the main event at WrestleMania. In any case, the one-of-a-kind Rob Van Dam proved that his unique wrestling style is indeed effective in any environment.
