WWE Superstar Roman Reigns to attend Wizard World Reno Comic Con
RENO, Nev. — WWE Superstar Roman Reign will attend the inaugural Wizard World Reno Comic Con on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Reigns will pose for photo ops beginning at 10:45 a.m., then sign autographs from 11:15 a.m. and follow up with an interactive Q&A panel at 1:30 p.m.
“We are thrilled to have one of the hottest WWE Superstars, Roman Reigns, coming to our first show in Reno,” said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO. “Again, Wizard World is the place to be to meet your favorite WWE talent!”
A star defensive tackle at Georgia Tech, Roman Reigns wrecked offensive guards for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars before becoming a WWE Superstar. The hulking powerhouse brought his smash-mouth gridiron style to WWE’s developmental system, NXT, where he left a long line of tough opponents in crumpled heaps. Later, he teamed with fellow Superstars Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to form The Shield, targeting anyone and everyone they saw as an example of injustice.
Reigns joins Norman Reedus, Jon Bernthal, Andrew J. West, Scott Wilson and Michael Rooker of “The Walking Dead,” William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “T.J. Hooker”), Jewel Staite (“Firefly,” “Stargate: Atlantis”), Bruce Campbell (“Evil Dead,” “Burn Notice”) and Adam West and Burt Ward (“Batman”) among the celebrities scheduled to attend the event, set for Nov. 21 to 23. It is the final of 16 events in the 2014 series produced by Wizard World Inc. and will also feature a collection of well-known comics artists and writers and a variety of activities, exhibitors and special attractions.
