WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of iconic comedienne Joan Rivers, who participated in one of the earliest WrestleManias in 1986.
Making a career out of bringing laughter and entertainment to people around the world, Ms. Rivers appeared at WrestleMania 2 where she served as a special guest ring announcer for “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s epic boxing match with Mr. T inside New York’s Nassau Coliseum.
WWE sends its sincerest condolences to the incomparable Ms. Rivers' family, friends and fans.
