SummerSlam Reading Rally gets L.A. kids reading

LOS ANGELES -- More than 150 people attended a SummerSlam Reading Rally with Matt Hardy and Layla at the Lincoln Heights Branch Library. Hardy and Layla spoke about the importance of reading, and encouraged the teens and tweens at the Aug. 14 event to participate in the WrestleMania XXVII Reading Challenge during Teen Read Week from Oct. 16-25. Lincoln Heights is one of 1,700 school and public libraries in North American participating in the Challenge. Those attending the rally were asked to show their library cards in exchange for autographs from the popular Superstar and Diva.
