LOS ANGELES -- WWE and the Los Angeles Mayor's Office joined forces for the second annual SummerSlam Day of Service on Aug. 13. Youth volunteers joined Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Evan Bourne, John Morrison and the Bella Twins painting wall murals for the Housing Authority at three housing projects: Ramona Gardens, Mar Vista Gardens and Jordan Downs. The Superstars and Divas received an exceptional welcome as they assisted the volunteers at each location in painting their murals of themes that resonated with each individual neighborhood. For Ramona Gardens, the mural depicted sports icons from Los Angeles. The mural at Mar Vista Gardens showcased a beautiful garden welcoming residents to the neighborhood. The Jordan Downs mural reflected the many faces of the Watts community, and how they are working together to improve their neighborhood. For their efforts to beautify their communities, the youth volunteers participating in the SummerSlam Day of Service are new WWE Community Champions.
