The Big Red Machine comes to India

The WWE Universe is accustomed to seeing the diabolical Kane walk through hellfire and brimstone on his way to decimating another opponent. Fans in India, however, were introduced to a different side of The Big Red Machine during his recent visit to the country. On a three-day tour of the cities of Delhi and Mumbai, an unusually charming Kane spoke with numerous media outlets, met with major Bollywood stars and entertained thousands of fans. (PHOTOS)

The 7-footer's whirlwind tour of the country included a meeting with the most-famous and highest paid actor in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar. Kane's sit-down chat with this major star generated tons of media attention throughout India, including front-page coverage and stories on the evening news.

The Big Red Machine also found the time to meet with dozens of media outlets, including CNN, Delhi Times of India and Radio One. In total, Kane's media appearances presented 149 million people a chance to see one of WWE's top Superstars.

An especially successful appearance saw approximately 5,000 members of the WWE Universe packing the Oberoi Mall in Mumbai for the chance to meet the SmackDown Superstar. But perhaps Kane's most important meeting was with 30 young boys and girls from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, who had the opportunity to speak with the giant and receive autographs.
