MELBOURNE, Australia -- John Cena's Australian tour or "walkabout" continued on Saturday. (PHOTOS | CENA DOWN UNDER: DAY TWO | DAY ONE)

The former WWE Champion started his day by meeting with Make-A-Wish child, Jamie, and his family. The two shared a few laughs and Cena presented him with some WWE merchandise.

Then it was off to the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, where Cena shared hosting duties for the event with music, theater and television star Nathalie Bassingthwaighte. 

Afterward, the former WWE Champion walked the orange carpet and spoke with Aussie media and celebrities, including Bindi Irwin, star of Bindi the Jungle Girl.

During the ceremony, Cena took home "Fave Sports Star" honors in front of the energized crowd and thanked them for their votes, getting the Nickelodeon-traditional green slime shower in the process.

After wrapping the ceremony, Cena met with more members of the WWE Universe Down Under before calling it a night.
