STAMFORD, Conn. -- Dozens of members of the WWE Universe lined the streets outside Tommy K's Vitamins in Stamford, Conn., Nov. 23,  to help a great cause - the Marine's Toys for Tots Foundation - and get the chance to meet Hornswoggle, Matt Hardy, Tommy Dreamer and Divas Beth Phoenix, Tiffany and Maria and WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel. Each year, WWE donates millions of dollars worth of products to various charities. As many people around the world struggle to make ends meet due to economic hardship, WWE and Mattel have joined forces to encourage the WWE Universe to think of those less fortunate this holiday season. This event kicked off WWE's Season for Global Giving in the United States. (MORE)

The stop in Stamford was only part of an incredibly busy week for the Superstars, who headed to Bridgeport, Conn., on Tuesday, Nov. 24, for a taping of SmackDown and ECW at The Arena at Harbor Yard. Nevertheless, it was an especially rewarding experience for each of them.

Thousands of toys, ranging from WWE merchandise, cars and Barbie dolls packed toy bins to the brim, while ear-to-ear smiles filled the faces of our fans waiting in line as the Marines came around to collect their donations.

First in line was Mary Kolek, of Chicopee, Mass., who drove 2 1/2 hours to the Toys for Tots event. She's been a fan for 25 years.

"It's important to help people who have less than I do," she explained as she flipped through a scrapbook with various articles and pictures of her favorite Superstars. "I'm also excited to meet Maria and Matt Hardy."

Some young members of the WWE Universe, Daniel and Andrew Geriak, were excited to show off what toys that had brought to the event, including "Incredible Hulk" and "Pokemon" merchandise.

"We're here to see Beth Phoenix," Andrew said with a smile. "But we also get to help kids who are poor."
