Circle of Champions: Jeremy and Zachary Get Texas Size Wishes Granted

SAN ANTONIO -- In the luxury suite at the AT&T Center, Circle of Champions honorees Jeremy Justus, of Kids Wish Network, and Zachary Gutierrez-Lopez, of The Wish Connection, met their favorite Superstar John Cena.

Gutierrez-Lopez, 8, was accompanied by his parents and six of his seven siblings. Meeting Cena was "a dream come true" for the San Antonio resident.

For Justus, 7, who traveled to San Antonio from his hometown of Clayton, Ga., seeing his favorite Superstar for the first time will be carved into his mind for many years to come.

"I liked Cena ever since I was 4 years old," said Justus of his hero. "I love his FU. I think it's the best finisher in the WWE!"

Wearing a handcrafted "Cena is my idol" T-shirt, Justus presented "the Champ" with a similar handmade shirt bearing a gold "Guardian Angel" coin.

"This is fantastic … I'll wear this now. Since we're in the giving mood, I have something for you," said an ecstatic Cena to a smiling Justus.

Cena quickly took the "8 Bit" T-shirt off his back, handed it to Justus and put on the one-of-a-kind creation from his fan.

And the gifts kept pouring in. Justus presented Cena with the Kids Wish Network plaque proclaiming Cena a "Guardian Angel," which the three-time champion got Justus to autograph.

Cena signed autographs, shelled out T-shirts, "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect" caps, Chain Gang Soldier" medallions, wristbands and took time to pose for photos with the Circle of Champs honorees and their families. The three-time champion answered Justus and Gutierrez-Lopez questions about his career, including his foray into the movie business.

"I just wrapped up a movie called 12 Rounds, which will be out [next year]. I enjoy making movies. Now that I've finished filming, I can focus on getting [the WWE Championship] back," Cena explained to the boys.

But the Chain Gang Commander wasn't the only Superstar in attendance. WWE Ambassador and Hall of Famer Ric Flair, World Heavyweight Champion Edge, Batista, Mr. Money in Bank CM Punk, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Mick Foley, Cryme Tyme and Mr. Kennedy dropped by to congratulate the True Champs.

Besides winning three WWE titles, soaring to the top of sports-entertainment and starring in movies, this meeting with Justus and Gutierrez-Lopez will always be remembered by The Chain Gang Commander.

"I certainly don't have wrestling memorabilia hanging around my house, because I'm at work enough," Cena recalled. "The only stuff that hangs in my office is my collection of military coins and items given to me from Circle of Champions honorees. That's the stuff that I hold near and dear to me. Any chance I can get to have them sign their gifts, makes it more special and helps me remember the moment more.

"It was an awesome experience. The awards are really cool, but that's not why I'm interested in doing this. I do it for the kids. I'm happy to be recognized, but that's second place to meeting some wonderful folks."
