Circle of Champions: WWE Superstars celebrate England's True Champs

MANCHESTER, England -- WWE has been breaking attendance records throughout Europe on this latest tour and touching hearts at the same time. Before sold out shows at Manchester Evening News Arena, WWE Champion Triple H, Batista and World Tag Team Champion CM Punk honored a few English True Champs. (PHOTOS)

The latest Circle of Champions honorees were Make-A-Wish's Curtis Brown, 10, of Fleetwood, Lancashire, England, and Zack Simpson, 12, of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Dreams Come True's Mark Hallissey, 7, and Macauley Davenport, 12, both of Manchester, England, as well as Rays of Sunshine's Naveed Hafeez, 12, of Manchester, England, also had their wishes granted by WWE.

"I never thought I would meet someone as famous as a WWE Superstar. They were even nicer than you would think. This moment was great and just meeting Triple H was inspiring," said Mark, an aspiring WWE referee.

Inside Manchester Evening News Arena's luxury VIP suite, the True Champs were given exclusive WWE merchandise and autographs. The honorees and their families also posed for photos with their favorite Superstar and were given ringside seats to see WWE live.

During Curtis and Mark's meet and greet with The Game, they quizzed the 12-time World Champion about his favorite foods (steak and potatoes), beverages (iced tea), and his gaming skills in the new SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 video game. When Curtis told The Cerebral Assassin that he defeated him in the No. 1 fighting game franchise in the world as Rey Mysterio, the WWE Champ responded quickly.

"That's a game. I'd never lose to Rey Mysterio in real life," Triple H replied, with a smile.

The WWE Champion acknowledged the importance of honoring kids all around the world.

"We go to all these different cities and as important as it is to come out into an arena with 20,000 people, it's almost more personable and meaningful when it's one-on-one with a True Champ," explained Triple H. "I don't care if I have to travel around the world twice to make a kid's wish come true. It's the biggest thing I can do."

Batista and CM Punk's experience with Macauley, Naveed and Zack occurred before Monday Night Raw.

"Anytime you can bring a smile to a kid's face is very special. Little that they know, they bring just as much happiness to my life," explained The Animal. "Knowing that they wanted to see me out of all the great WWE Superstars we have here is a true honor, one that I'm very grateful for."

CM Punk echoed Batista's sentiment.

"They were super excited to see Batista and myself. It's overwhelming, because I got into this industry for my own passion. To know that there are kids out there who are passionate about meeting me is awesome."

Although it was a special day for the Circle of Champions honorees who got to see their biggest dreams come true, their parents were just as ecstatic.

"My son's meeting with Triple H was brilliant. It was something I always wanted. I'm glad it came true. Mark was smiling the whole time. I think he'll take a lot from this experience. It's something he'll always remember," said Nichola, Mark's mother.

"Batista and CM Punk were absolutely fantastic. WWE and Rays of Sunshine did a wonderful job. Naveed is excited about it. It was an amazing experience," said Mohammed, Naveed's father. "It was a very special occasion that we were able to enjoy with him and we'll cherish for a long time."
