Stephanie McMahon and WWE execs make the list
The WWE Divas are renowned for being sexy, smart and powerful. And while they're certainly all that and more, those adjectives don't only apply to WWE's in-ring females.
CableFAX magazine, a highly regarded industry publication, recently honored Stephanie McMahon as one of their "Most Powerful Women in Cable 2009." McMahon, WWE's Executive Vice President, Creative Development & Operations, was lauded for her forward-looking vision, including the overseeing of Raw's special guest hosts -- among them Donald Trump, Shaquille O'Neal and Jeremy Piven -- as well as expanding WWE's sphere by positioning Superstars on non-WWE programming such as Project Runway, Saturday Night Live, The View and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
