Raw Superstars return from Europe ... finally!

Raw Superstars may appear unstoppable at times, but all it took was one unpredictable woman to pin the roster to the ground: Mother Nature. When a volcano erupted in Iceland, the resulting ash cloud wreaked havoc on air travel throughout Europe, causing thousands of flight cancellations, including those for the Raw roster.

While the Superstars were grounded for days as a result, the roster finally embarked on a ferry Wednesday morning from Belfast, Ireland for the three-hour ride to Scotland, where they traveled another four hours to an airport in Edinburgh. Once there, the Superstars settled in for their long flight back to the U.S., and arrived at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport at approximately 8:56 p.m. ET.

While the chaos prompted most of the roster to miss Monday Night Raw's live broadcast, several of the weary Superstars tried to make light of the situation, even posting updates on their Twitter accounts.

"Watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles can make u feel bettr about travel probs!" tweeted Divas Champion Eve. "WWE is doing a remake called Charters, Ferries and Buses."

And Unified Tag Team Champion, The Miz, also chimed in on Twitter: "5am woke up 630am waiting for 3 hour ferry then have 4 hour drive to airport where we r supposedly flyin back to usa. Time will tell."

Despite the tumultuous circumstances, Raw completed all of their scheduled tour events, stopping in Austria, England, ScotlandFrance and Ireland (click on the country name for tour photos). Welcome back, Raw Superstars!
