Bulldozing through RAW
Monday night on RAW, the vicious Umaga struck again. As “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan tended to Eugene, the Samoan Bulldozer attacked the WWE legend from behind and rammed him into the ringpost. Umaga then proceeded to destroy Duggan, leaving him beaten on the arena floor after a Samoan Spike.
Unfortunately for RAW’s Superstars, scenes like this have become commonplace when Umaga is involved. Since his debut two months ago, the Samoan Bulldozer has destroyed everyone that has stepped in his path. It started the night after WrestleMania 22 with one of the all-time greats, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, who was left broken in the ring by Umaga. The Samoan Bulldozer continued to pick up steam from there, as he dominated his competition en route to decimating Flair once again at Backlash. The “Nature Boy” has not been seen since.
It seems that nobody is safe, as even the nearly 7 foot tall, 480 pound Viscera has been decimated by Umaga. When RAW was in Las Vegas two weeks ago, The Samoan Bulldozer interrupted The World’s Largest Love Machine’s proposal to Lilian Garcia, attacking from behind and destroying the big man. Viscera demanded a match the following week, but he only suffered the same fate once again, getting laid out by the Samoan Spike.
When you combine the raw power and savage brutality of Umaga with the cunning business mind of manager Armando Alejandro Estrada, you get a deadly force that no one seems to have an answer for. As the weeks go on and his momentum builds, will anyone be able to stop Umaga? Or even worse…will anyone even want to try?
