"WWE Presents Madison Square Garden Classics" returns

Starting this Wednesday, May 14, WWE Presents Madison Square Garden Classics returns to MSG Network. Classics will be hosted by WWE Hall of Fame announcer "Mean" Gene Okerlund, as he looks back at the greatest matches from the greatest events to ever emanate from the World's Most Famous Arena.

The first episode of Classics' illustrious return, airing at 8 p.m. ET, looks back at three matches from a WWE live event that took place on July 1, 1991: a WWE Tag Team Championship Match between the champions The Nasty Boys and The Hart Foundation; singles competition pitting Jake "The Snake" Roberts against Earthquake; and the main event -- a Bodybag Match, with Ultimate Warrior facing Undertaker.

Immediately following will be Classics' second episode, airing at 9 p.m., highlighting a WWE live event that took place August 25, 1984. Featured from this event will be a WWE Tag Team Championship Match with the champions Dick Murdoch & Adrian Adonis taking on The Wild Samoans; the main event bout between "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper; and an Intercontinental Title Match with the champion Tito Santana vs. Greg Valentine.

Join "Mean" Gene this Wednesday, and every Wednesday throughout the summer on the MSG Network, and watch some of the greatest matches to ever take place in the squared circle as WWE Presents Madison Square Garden Classics.
