The Undertaker returns to compete on Raw with Team Hell No against The Shield in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.04/12/2018 - 16:45
Few Superstars in WWE history were as dominant as The Ultimate Warrior.
A true madman with a physique straight out of a comic book, the former WWE Champion barreled through legendary opponents like Mr. Perfect and "Ravishing" Rick Rude with relative ease. But the intense competitor eventually met his match in the form of The Undertaker. A haunting new figure in WWE at the time, The Deadman's immense strength and dark powers intimidated the Warrior to the degree that he had to seek help in order to combat him. Believing the old adage that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," Warrior entrusted Jake "The Snake" Roberts to bring out his dark side, resulting in the No. 4 moment on WWE.com's list of Heated Pursuits.
A psychological mastermind, the menacing Roberts planned to elicit the Warrior's inner demons by subjecting him to three horrifying tests that would shake even the steeliest Fear Factor contestant. While skeptical, Warrior went along with The Snake's bizarre rituals and allowed the slithering Superstar to lock him in a casket and bury him alive in a cemetery. But Roberts saved his most twisted trial for last when he forced the Warrior into a crypt filled with hundreds of deadly snakes.
Although he was petrified, Warrior slowly moved to the center of the room where a small coffin sat. In this container, The Snake claimed, was the answer that the Warrior was looking for. But when the big man opened the lid, the only thing he found was Jake's King Cobra, Lucifer, which leapt out and sank its poisonous fangs into him.
With paralyzing venom coursing through his veins, Warrior collapsed to the floor and used his last ounce of strength to reach out for help, but the only thing he could grab was the leg of Undertaker. In that moment, it became clear that Roberts had been on the side of The Demon from Death Valley the entire time.
The act may have been ruthless, but Roberts still flashed a smile as he taught Warrior his most valuable lesson yet — never trust a snake.
