Fox Searchlight finds "The Wrestler" in its grips

After the overwhelming reception Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler" received at Toronto's Film Festival this year, Fox Searchlight won the bidding for the film's distribution over Weinstein Co., Lionsgate, Overture and Sony. A big part of projected deals was the late-year, Oscar-campaign release for Mickey Rourke's rendition of Randy "The Ram" Robinson. The full article can be read at Variety.com.
