WrestleMania XXIV at the Citrus Bowl will go down in the history books, as reported in an article on the PR Newswire March 31. The show that featured the end of the Ric Flair era grossed more than $5.85 million in ticket sales with 74,635 fans in attendance, making it WWE's highest grossing event and a new attendance record for the Citrus Bowl. Furthermore, with up to $30 million brought into the local economy and fans from 50 states, seven Canadian provinces and 21 countries in Orlando, Fla., for the event, WWE definitely delivered with its annual WrestleMania extravaganza.
