"Rowdy" Roddy Piper smashes Jimmy Snuka with a coconut
Perhaps the most memorable smashing moment in WWE history occurred on the set of “Piper’s Pit” on April 1, 1984. Piper brought out pineapples, bananas and coconuts to make Snuka "feel at home." After Snuka took offense, Piper viciously bashed him in the head with a coconut and shoved a banana in his face. Adding insult to injury, Piper then brutally whipped Snuka with his belt.
Cody Rhodes bashes Rey Mysterio with his own knee brace
At WrestleMania XXVII, Rey Mysterio nearly put away Cody Rhodes by using Cody's own facemask as a weapon. But it was Rhodes who stole the win, striking Rey in the head with his own knee brace for the victory. ( PHOTOS)
Randy "Macho Man" Savage whacks The Ultimate Warrior with his scepter
Randy "Macho Man" Savage's painful whack to head of The Ultimate Warrior with his scepter cost Warrior the WWE Title against Sgt. Slaughter at the 1991 Royal Rumble. The victory marked the only WWE Championship for the WWE Hall of Famer.
Demolition bashes Bret "Hit Man" Hart with Jimmy Hart's megaphone
At SummerSlam 1988, Demolition battled The Hart Foundation for the Tag Team Championships. When Bret “Hit Man” Hart went for a piledriver, Ax smashed him with Jimmy Hart's megaphone. Seizing the opportunity, Smash pinned Hart for the championship win.
David Otunga smashes himself in the head with a flag pole
During a Captain vs. Captain Match on the March 26, 2012 edition of Raw, David Otunga took early control and did some bragging mid-match by waving the Team Johnny Flag. But when he went to strike Team Teddy mascot Hornswoggle, Otunga ended up smashing himself in the head with the flag pole!
Jack Swagger bashes Edge with the Money in the Bank briefcase
On the April 2, 2010 edition of SmackDown, Edge roughed up World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and left him reeling after a Spear. His thanks? A whack to the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase by Jack Swagger en route to cashing in against the vulnerable champion.
Randy Orton bonks David Otunga in the head with a gift box
In a Miracle on 34th Street Fight on a special holiday edition of SmackDown on Nov. 29, 2011, Randy Orton tossed David Otunga into various festive decorations. When Otunga tried to flee up the entrance ramp, The Viper bonked him on the head with a gift box.
Marc Mero uses Sunny's brick-packed purse to win the Intercontinental Title
On the Sept. 23, 1996 edition of Raw, "Wildman" Marc Mero took on Faarooq in an Intercontinental Title Tournament Finals Match. When Sunny's purse (which contained a brick) made it into the ring, Mero gained possession of it and used it to smash Faarooq on the head for the championship win.
Paul Bearer hits Undertaker with his urn
During the first-ever Boiler Room Brawl at SummerSlam 1996, Paul Bearer turned on Undertaker by bashing him over the head with his urn. To complete the stunning betrayal, Bearer handed over the urn to Mankind, which earned him the victory in the match.
The Honky Tonk Man attacks Jake “The Snake” Roberts with his guitar
During a 1987 edition of "The Snake Pit," The Honky Tonk Man brutally attacked Jake "The Snake" Roberts with his guitar, leaving him writhing in pain. The now-legendary assault fueled the fire for their WrestleMania III showdown, in which Honky Tonk Man beat Roberts by using the ropes to his advantage.
