WWE and WWE Network win Best in Show, 5 Gold and 19 Silver W3 Awards
WWE.com and WWE Network have been recognized for their creative excellence by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) with 25 total W3 Awards – five Gold Awards, 19 Silver Awards and Best in Show.
The WWE App again received the Gold Award for Mobile Apps/Sites – Sports. The WWE App also earned two Silver Awards for Mobile Apps in Entertainment and Best User Interface.
WWE Network continued its commitment to excellence and was honored as a Gold Award recipient for Visual Appeal. WWE Network was also awarded nine Silver Awards in the General Website Categories for Entertainment, Media Streaming and Sports, respectively, as well as Website Features – Structure and Navigation, Website Features – Video or Motion Graphics and Video Channels and Networks – Variety.
In addition to winning Best in Show for Social Content and Sports Marketing, WrestleMania 31 was recognized for excellence in entertainment social media for events and social media for entertainment with two respective Silver Awards. WWE's efforts behind Connor's Cure also earned a Gold Award for Social Content for Public Service and Activism. Connor's Cure also earned two Silver Awards for Online Campaign and Marketing Effectiveness – Corporate Social Responsibility.
WWE.com earned a Gold Award for Website Features – Home Page and a Silver Award for Structure and Navigation. The hit online shows WWE Superstar Ink and WWE Superstar Ghost Stories each earned a Silver Award Online Video – Web Series. Also in the Online Video category, the 360-degree experience "Make your grand WrestleMania 32 entrance" earned Silver honors for Interactive Video.
With more than 700 million followers across multiple platforms, WWE’s overall Social Media efforts earned a Gold Award for Social Media presence.
