The Rock to star as DC Comics’ Black Adam in two upcoming films
Since 2014, The Rock has been slated to portray the supervillain Black Adam in the DC Cinematic Universe. Following a recent visit to the DC Comics offices in Burbank, California, The People’s Champ revealed the movies featuring Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman will shift to a more fun tone.
In the wake of that announcement, multiple entertainment outlets also reported that The Rock would be appearing as Black Adam in two films based on the DC Comics Universe. Not only would he appear in “Shazam!,” but The Rock’s iteration of Black Adam is set to appear in his own standalone film.
Could we see a WrestleMania dream match pitting The Rock’s Black Adam against Ben Affleck’s Batman?
