The Rock has come a long way since he was sporting mile-high hair, a tucked-in turtleneck and a low-slung fanny pack — but hey, 1996 was a crazy time for fashion. The Great One’s meme-worthy snapshot has been making the rounds for years, but now the star of “Baywatch” is starring in yet another reboot this week in the form of a recreation of that iconic shot, which first appeared on “Saturday Night Live” during Rock’s fifth time hosting the NBC show this past weekend. It’s important to note that in both the original and the new shot, the 10-time World Champion’s thumb is tucked casually into that aforementioned fanny pack. Because, as The People’s Champ points out, “Always tuck the thumb.”
