WWE Studios’ “Sleight” available on Digital HD July 18

A young street magician living in Los Angeles is forced to use his magic and wit to save his little sister in the edgy coming-of-age tale, “Sleight,” arriving on Digital HD on Tuesday, July 18, and on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Delivering impressive performances from breakout stars Jacob Latimore (“The Maze Runner,” “Ride Along”), Seychelle Gabriel (“Sleepy Hollow,” “Falling Skies”), Dulé Hill (“Psych,” “Ballers”), Storm Reid (“12 Years a Slave,” “Chicago P.D.”) and Sasheer Zamata (“Saturday Night Live,” “Inside Amy Schumer”), ”Sleight” weaves together the worlds of magic and crime for a vivid portrayal of a young man faced with extraordinary circumstances, and the lengths that he will go to change them.

Bo (Lattimore) is a young street magician who is left to raise his little sister after his parents pass away. To keep a roof over their heads, he takes on a job selling drugs for psychopathic drug dealer Angelo (Hill). When he realizes he’s in too deep, and that he and his sister are at risk, Bo uses his magic to find a way out in this inventive and original film.

“Sleight” marks the directorial debut for J.D. Dillard, and comes from executive producers Michael J. Luisi, President of WWE Studios, and Jason Blum, whose Blumhouse Productions produced this year’s box office hit “Get Out.”
