MSG Networks to feature WrestleMania I on ‘The Garden’s Defining Moments’ series
WrestleMania I marked a ground-breaking event in sports-entertainment history, but it also helped to define the legacy of Madison Square Garden, nicknamed “The World’s Most Famous Arena.”
MSG Networks will take a close look at the premiere WrestleMania in its “The Garden’s Defining Moments” series on Friday, Feb. 12 at 10:30 p.m., following the New York Rangers vs. Los Angeles Kings game. Ben Stiller will narrate the WrestleMania episode of this 20-part television event.
From Vince McMahon to Roddy Piper, the major players in the first WrestleMania look back on the monumental event and reflect on its cultural impact, the ticket demand, the inclusion of Liberace and much more.
