John Cena teases Doctor of Thuganomics return on Kids’ Choice Awards

When John Cena hosts the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tomorrow night, it might not be the John Cena you were expecting.
The 16-time World Champion sent out an odd tease on Twitter, dangling the possibility that his “Doctor of Thuganomics” persona might be making a comeback during Cena’s stint as master of ceremonies.

It’s an interesting development, as Cena hasn’t dusted off his old doctorate since spitting a rhyme at The Rock in 2012. WWE fans have yet another reason to tune in to the show tomorrow: Not only did The Doctor of Thuganomics shoot Cena straight to the top, but the persona often brought out the most unexpected — and hilarious — side of the Superstar.
Of course, there’s only one time and place to see if the Doctor is back in: Tomorrow, live at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon. Word Life, y’all.
