Drew McIntyre responds to Wade Barrett regarding possible showdown
If Wade Barrett ever returned to the ring for a bout with Drew McIntyre, what would happen?
The recently minted NXT commentator is confident he knows the answer to that question.
“It isn’t a question of Drew McIntyre calling me out,” Barrett said in an interview with BT Sport. “Whenever I’m ready I can just step in the ring and take whatever I want from him. He knows that, he’s aware of it. One day perhaps the world might see it.”
The WWE Champion had other thoughts, though.

Barrett shares a deep-rooted history with the WWE Champion, as he and McIntyre were FCW Tag Team Champions.
The former Intercontinental Champion signed on as part of NXT’s commentary team last month.
