As part of their annual Creative 100 list – a list of the 100 most creative professionals in America – Adweek has named John Cena as one of 20 celebrities and professionals who challenge the norms of their industry, audiences and themselves.

Cena joins other celebrities such as "Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams, "Hamilton" star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, "Full Frontal" host Samantha Bee and Beyoncé among others as an individual who continues to evovle and change the conversation about themselves and the world around them. 

A WWE Superstar since the early 2000s, the list highlights Cena's various movie cameos, recent advertising appearances and charity work – including his unmatched commitment to Make-A-Wish – as a way that the Cenation leader continues to challenge himself and expand his own personal brand. The list also highlights the recent Ad Council PSA where Cena explains what it really means to be an American that went viral.
