Let's get extreme

According to Mr. McMahon, anything involving the old "ECW" sucks, while the "new breed" of extreme is where it's at. Whether you agree with the Chairman or not, you can get some concrete evidence to make your decision by picking up the new ECW Extreme Rules DVD.

With ECW Extreme Rules, WWE fans get a taste of both the old school and the new breed alike. ECW Originals such as Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Sandman and Tommy Dreamer may be "dinosaurs" to Mr. McMahon nowadays, but in their prime they were the epitome of extreme. No die-hard ECW fan will ever forget 1995's classic High Incident Scaffold Match between Dreamer and Brian Lee or the 1999 Extreme Death Match between Sabu and Tazz to unify the ECW and FTW Championships. Both matches are included on the DVD, as well as other classic battles like the brutal Stairway to Hell Match between Sandman and Sabu from 1998.

On the flip side, everything that Mr. McMahon enjoys about the "new" ECW is included as well. From the infamous South Philly Screwjob where Big Show won the ECW World Title to RVD's brutal Extreme Rules battle with Hardcore Holly, the best of the new breed is there for your viewing pleasure.

Everyone has an opinion as to whether the old or new ECW is the better product. Mr. McMahon says the old ECW sucks, but then again, he once said that WWE.com sucked too. Well, maybe you should ignore his opinion, check out the ECW Extreme Rules DVD and decide for yourself.

Hey, here comes Mr. McMahon now, and he says he has two words for me…
