WWE wins two prestigious CableFAX awards
STAMFORD, Conn. – WWE has been named the winner of two 2016 CableFAX Digital Awards: Best Social Good Campaign, honoring WWE’s social media commitment to Connor’s Cure, and Best Digital Marketing Campaign, for WrestleMania 31.
Connor’s Cure raises pediatric cancer awareness in memory of Connor “The Crusher” Michalek. Leveraging WWE’s social media outreach across major platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat of more than 580 million followers worldwide, WWE won the award for Best Social Good Campaign, beating Food Network & Cooking Channel’s #BakeitForward initiative and Hallmark’s “Kitten Bowl II.”
WWE also shared top honors for Best Digital Marketing Campaign for WrestleMania 31, alongside Comcast Cable’s X1 Conversion Campaign, beating NBCUniversal, truTV and Turner Entertainment Networks.
The 2016 CableFAX Digital Awards honors the outstanding websites, digital initiatives and people in the Digital and Technology industry that are driving the digital media revolution.
