Jeff Hardy and other Raw Superstars are ready to rock Mexico.

The land where lucha libre thrives gets a taste of America when Raw Superstars begin their tour of Mexico tonight in Tijuana. The visit, which stretches through the end of the weekend, features four shows in three cities, giving our Mexican fans the great opportunity to see Raw’s Superstars up close. But that’s not all they will be treated to.

Rey Mysterio is going to be with us, which is very exciting,” said a wide-eyed Jeff Hardy when asked about the trip. “He’s getting ready to make that comeback. I’m really excited to see the faces of the Mexican fans when they see Rey.”

Our Mexican fans will be familiar to Raw Diva Jillian, who was a part of SmackDown and ECW’s tour of the country last March.

“It’s always fun to experience our fans in other countries because they don’t get to see us much, so they’re always so excited. Little do they know, though, is that we are just as excited as they are to perform in front of them,” said Jillian with a coy smile on her face as if she just let us in on a secret.

Since our fans in Mexico are only treated to WWE a few nights a year, they are never shy to deliver a warm welcoming as their favorite Superstars enter the airport and the arenas.

“Our fans are very hungry for us to be there,” said Paul London who admits to being a fan of Mexican wrestling. “It’s a different form of entertainment from what they’re used to. I love lucha libre, but at the same time, we’ll get to show what we’re all about and rock the house.”

London is specifically excited for this tour in Mexico, as it serves as home for his mother’s side of his family.

“Being half Hispanic myself, it’s always an honor to go back to Mexico and perform in front of the Hispanic people, who I feel are part of a distant family for me.”

Raw’s coolest Superstar from the Caribbean doesn’t share that same enthusiasm. In fact, he would rather be anywhere else, this week.

“I hate going to Mexico,” he fired. “The women aren’t very attractive. The men are hideous. They all drink too much just like Sandman. And for me it’s going to be miserable being there.”

While our Mexican fans are spitting apples back at Carlito, they will probably find William Regal in his company.

“Mexico is like anywhere else to me that isn’t England,” Regal said. “It’s just a filthy, dirty, disgusting place full of people that I don’t really want to be around. I go out and do my thing and they all throw their abuse at me.”

When WWE.com tried to learn if there is any aspect of the Mexican tour that Regal is looking forward to, he hit us with a giant dose of sarcasm.

“I’m looking forward to it because I haven’t been deadly ill in a while,” he said. “I haven’t been dreadfully sick in five or six years, so I’m sure I can catch something over there.”

While Regal thinks of the country as a dirty place he wants nothing to do with, Randy Orton sees it as a second home of sorts. Stationed at Camp Pendleton in Southern California back in the late ‘90s, Orton and fellow members of the Marine Corps were only an hour and a half from Tijuana.

“There are the same clubs that were there the last time I was in Tijuana, but this time I get to go as a WWE Superstar,” he boasted. “Mexico’s a beautiful place and they’ve got beautiful women and I’m excited to go.”

Look out, ladies. The Legend Killer is coming to Mexico.
