Tony Dawson is living the dream.
Although youthful, the WWE announcer is a 15-year veteran of the broadcast game, having called college sports for major programs like UCLA, Virginia Tech and Southern Cal. Dawson also worked for the NBA as both a sideline reporter with the Memphis Grizzlies and a studio host for the Portland Trailblazers.
A lifelong WWE fan, the California native joined the organization to provide flawless play-by-play commentary on “WWE Superstars” and entertain the WWE Universe as the host of WWE Active on the WWE App. In this unpredictable position, the clean-cut journalist has auditioned for The Prime Time Players, learned The Usos’ war dance and gotten up close and personal with the lovely Aksana.
