WrestleMania XIX - Undertaker vs. Big Show & A-Train
At WrestleMania XIX, Undertaker was scheduled to compete in his first WrestleMania tag-team match. However, on HEAT prior to the pay-per-view, Undertaker’s partner, Nathan Jones, was injured by opponents Big Show & A-Train, forcing the Deadman to fend for himself in a 2-on-1 situation.
When the match began, Undertaker was quickly able to nail A-Train with a chokeslam, but couldn’t follow up with a pinfall attempt. Undertaker also took it to Big Show early, before Show & A-Train hit the floor to regroup. Once back in the ring, the numbers game caught up with Undertaker, and A-Train hit the Derailer on the Deadman for a two count. Big Show then came in and sent Undertaker to the ringpost, giving his team the advantage.
Undertaker managed to fight back using some mixed martial arts moves, and nailed both opponents with a series of flying clotheslines. However, A-Train was able to hit a bicycle kick that looked to end the match, but the Deadman miraculously kicked out before the three count.
Big Show then came in to hit a chokeslam, but before he could make the cover, all hell broke loose. Nathan Jones was able to shake off the earlier attack and make his way to ringside, where he nailed Big Show with a spinning kick. This distracted A-Train long enough for the Deadman to recover, and he nailed A-Train with a Tombstone to get the pinfall. With the win, Undertaker’s WrestleMania record reached an unprecedented 11-0.
