Randy Orton on Mick Foley

When asked about killing the legend of Chris Benoit, Mick Foley told WWE.com the following:

"One of my favorite matches I've ever had thus far in my career would be Backlash 2004 with Mick Foley. It was a Hardcore Match and he actually showed up as Cactus Jack. There were tacks, there was blood, barbed wire, everything. Chairs, tables - everything you could imagine was thrown in that match. We spent about 35 minutes beating the crap out of each other. There was blood everywhere, I had about 400 thumbtacks in my back, arms, hand...it was awful. The pain was excruciating. But I remember being there in Edmonton and knowing that as I was landing on my back with that RKO, driving those thumbtacks into my spine, I was making history for myself. I was etching my name in the books as someone who could go toe-to-toe with the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley. Another Legend killed."
