ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s 10 a.m. at a Sunshine State body spa. The Orlando location of the pampering hub is as conspicuous as its exclusive list of clientele. Topping the list of its prime patrons is none other than Prince Pretty, Tyler Breeze. While pedicures and facials are the norm for NXT’s “most gorgeous” Superstar, we can now add another distinction to his list of traits: No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship. 

“I've been nothing but spectacular since debuting on NXT,” Breeze said. “It was only a matter of time before I became No. 1 contender, and that time has come.”

Even though Breeze’s claims of opening-day spectacles may be true, it would also seem that the “Selfie King” has recently tapped into a more volatile side. The newfound aggression earned Breeze a victory over Sami Zayn at NXT Takeover and a one-way ticket to a chance at Adrian Neville’s NXT Championship.

“Personally, I can’t stand Adrian Neville. Why should I like him?” Breeze questioned. “He can do incredible things, but it doesn’t mean I have to like him. I don’t like the sound of his voice, I don’t like how he runs to the ring and I don’t think he’s a good representation as the NXT Champion. Need I say more?”

Breeze’s views of Neville aside, it would appear that the “King of Cuteville” has more momentum than ever in and out of the ring. Who else can lay claim to appearing in the video for the hit song “#SELFIE” by The Chainsmokers? Not to mention, Breeze recently released his very own music video, appropriately titled “#MMMGorgeous.”

“I'm the No. 1 contender! I can sing and I have a music video. Oh, and P.S.: I'm the most super good looking piece of gorgeousness you will ever see,” Breeze said.

Are we bearing witness to a burgeoning new era for Breeze on NXT? To this day, Breeze has refused to divulge when he will officially challenge Neville for the NXT Championship, but one might surmise that a victory for Breeze would cement a status of success that many never expected to see. Right now, the ball is in the court of the No. 1 contender, and the status of the NXT Championship hinges on his clock. Are we living in the World of Breeze? The possibility may arrive upon us sooner than we think. 

“When I decide the time is right, the NXT Universe will marvel at the site of its most gorgeous Champion in history, especially the envious uggos,” Breeze promised. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a milkweed oil facial to partake in.”
