WWE NXT: March 20, 2014

ORLANDO, Fla. — The NXT Universe was in for a special treat this week, as Sheamus stopped in at WWE NXT. Unfortunately, The Celtic Warrior’s visit was interrupted by Aiden English. Sami Zayn took on the vain Tyler Breeze. Also, the non-stop party that is “The Adam Rose Experience” returned to the ring, as the megastar battled Camacho. Mojo Rawley was in action, while in a Divas contest, Bayley battled Sasha Banks of The BFFs.

WWE NXT: March 20, 2014
Mojo Rawley def. Bull Dempsey
NXT’s most energetic Superstar, Mojo Rawley, kicked off NXT against Bull Dempsey. The burly Dempsey caught Rawley in the opening moments of the bout, pummeling him with a flurry of fists and boots. Though Dempsey did his best to keep Mojo slowed down, there was no stopping the man who stays hyped. Rawley used his boundless enthusiasm to power his way to victory with the Hyperdrive.

While Mojo celebrated with his good friend and New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski, CJ Parker told Devin Taylor that Rawley’s lifestyle disgusts him. “The Moonchild” vowed to “humanely dispose” of Mojo when they tangle next week in a rematch from NXT ArRIVAL.

Corey Graves attacks Sami Zayn before his match with Tyler Breeze
Riding high after his victory over Corey Graves two weeks ago, Sami Zayn was looking to get a winning streak started against Tyler Breeze. Before Zayn could even get into the ring, “The Savior of Misbehavior” blindsided Zayn and hurled him face-first into the steel ring post. Graves gloated while WWE physicians and officials helped a dazed Zayn to the locker room.

Adam Rose def. Camacho
The party never stops for Adam Rose, even when the bell rings. Camacho was disgusted by the megastar’s over-the-top entrance, even further so when Rose began dancing around the ring. Rose’s eccentric behavior clearly flustered his streetwise foe. When he finally got his hands on Rose, Camacho clobbered him with a series of chops and forearms, leading the NXT Universe to declare him a “party pooper.” However, once Camacho mocked Rose’s unique dance moves, the megastar went into a rage, unleashing a vicious lariat to pick up the victory and keep the party going into the night.

Bayley def. Sasha Banks
After being mocked by The BFFs last week, Bayley was out for retribution against “The Boss” of the mean girls, Sasha Banks. Bayley wasn’t alone, either, as she had former WWE Divas Champion Natalya in her corner. Bayley took Banks to the mat with a full nelson before giving “The Boss” a taste of her own medicine, putting on her foes’ blinged-out shades and doing her best Banks impression.

While the WWE Universe loved Bayley’s mockery,Banks was infuriated. She quickly cornered Bayley, pounding her into the canvas with kicks and punches. Sasha’s fellow BFF Charlotte tried to distract the fun-loving Diva by attacking Natalya at ringside. Banks seized the opportunity, rolling up her opponent, but Bayley countered and pinned Sasha for the three-count!

Sheamus def. Aiden English
Earlier in the night, “The Artiste” interrupted Sheamus’ interview with Devin Taylor, leading The Celtic Warrior to call in a favor with NXT General Manager JBL so he could get his hands on Aiden English in the ring. Before the bout, Sheamus shared an Irish song of his own with the NXT Universe — until English attacked him from behind.

Sheamus was singing a different tune once the bell rang. English showed off his brawling skills, thrashing the former WWE Champion in the corner. “The Artiste” couldn’t match The Celtic Warrior for long, though. English tried to escape before Sheamus caught him in the ropes and unleashed 10 powerful forearms.

English snared Sheamus in a precarious position later in the match, ramming him into the ring post and the steel steps. Things looked bleak for The Celtic Warrior as “The Artiste” wore him down, even hitting a neckbreaker off the top rope. Finding himself trapped in a sleeper hold, Sheamus drew energy from the NXT Universe, breaking out of the hold and getting his second wind.

The Celtic Warrior built up a head of steam and took back control of the match, nearly taking off English’s head with a devastating Brogue Kick to earn the win.
