The Real Americans def. Santino Marella & The Great Khali

An exclusive look at the Cesaro Swing on The Great Khali at WWE Battleground

Antonio Cesaro shows an impressive feat of strength at WWE Battleground by doing his Cesaro Swing on The Great Khali.

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Antonio Cesaro achieved an astounding feat of greatness Sunday night, taking The Punjabi Playboy for a wild ride on the Cesaro Swing. The massive achievement earned The Real Americans a tag team victory over The Great Khali & Santino Marella at the first WWE Battleground pay-per-view.

After Zeb Colter led The Real Americans in a disparaging rant about Buffalo’s “illegal” population and how its only claim to fame is its deep-fried chicken wings, Jack Swagger kicked off the tag team match against a fired-up Marella. The Milan Miracle brought the Cobra out early, and while Hornswoggle tried to distract Swagger at ringside, it wasn’t enough to set back The Real Americans. They quickly gained the upper-hand in the match by double-teaming Marella and executing a brilliant strategy to not allow Khali to tag into the bout for several minutes.

When Khali finally saw in-ring action, his monstrous chops were only a minor setback for Cesaro and Swagger. As soon as Cesaro saw The Punjabi Giant down on the mat, he amazingly lifted the 347-pound Superstar by the legs and took him for an astonishing 11-revolution ride on the Cesaro Swing to secure the win.

Since Marella returned to WWE action four weeks, he’s been more than just a pesky nuisance to The Real Americans, defeating Cesaro twice and Swagger once. But at WWE Battleground, even with The Punjabi Giant on his side, The Italian Superstar couldn’t overcome The Real Americans this time. "We The People!"
